Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

A day in the life As a maintenance engineer, you are on site in one of our logistics centers to respond quickly to technical problems. You carry out a number of planned preventive maintenance measures on devices to ensure their safe operation. In addition, as a maintenance engineer, you are looking for troubles and failures. You investigate the causes, find solutions as soon as possible and apply them. You also make suggestions for long-term improvements. In cooperation with senior colleagues, you perform daily maintenance tasks and communicate with service providers if you need external expertise. You work in rotating layers so that we can support our locations around the clock and ensure that Amazon can continue to deliver at the pace we are known for.

Basic qualifications

• Complete technical vocational training recognised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) or Chamber of Commerce (HWK) or proof of a successfully completed university degree in the field of engineering (engineering / electrical engineering or art related) of a German university or recognized foreign university degrees (BA, B. Sc., MA, M. Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
• At least two years of professional experience in the appropriate craft
• Experience in the maintenance of industrial production plants
• Advanced knowledge of German in word and writing Preferred qualifications
• Experience with state-oriented monitoring
• Experience in working with printing and application machines
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of conveyor or automation systems
