As Lead Enterprise Architect, you are the strategic head and the driving force of our digital transformation. You are responsible not only for the holistic orientation of our corporate architecture to the long-term business objectives, but You pro-actively shape the technological vision. Their mission is to create a sustainable digital ecosystem that enables innovation, scalability and resilience in our core business processes such as supply chain, manufacturing, product development and quality management. In this key function, you act as a strategic partner of top management and ensure that any technological decision drives the long-term business goals.

You will: define the vision and strategy for the enterprise architecture management of the ZEISS SMT division and its anchoring in the company through our architectural domains Business, IT, Data and Cyber Security.

develop a long-term technology roadmap that is directly derived from the business objectives and sustainably secures and strengthens the company's competitiveness.

establish an effective architecture governance, principles and standards throughout the company to achieve strategic goals in all IT projects, actively reduce complexity and maximize synergies.

guide, develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

advise management and top management in all architecture-strategic issues and act as a decision-making authority for technological policy decisions.

design large transformation programs from architecture perspective and ensure that You are implemented in accordance with the defined target architecture.

a successfully completed study of economic informatics, engineering, BWL or a comparable qualification

at least 10 years of strategic professional experience at the interface of business and IT, including several years in a relevant leadership or architect role with overall responsibility

proven success in building and managing an EAM function and in implementing business-driven IT strategies in companies with complex industrial production

excellent understanding of value chains and business processes, in particular in the fields of supply chain, manufacturing, product development or quality management

Experience in controlling large transformation programs through the application of architecture governance and strategic portfolio management

high enforcement capability, strategic thinking ability, excellent communication skills in German and English as well as the ability to convincingly convey complex visions and inspire people to change
