From specification to tendering, awarding, quality assurance to logistics, distribution and processing, Bw Clothingsmanagement GmbH (BwBM) is responsible for the entire value chain of the Bundeswehr clothing - from shoes to helmet. We are looking for you in full time for our new regional camp in Magdeburg as: Operations Manager (m/d) Regionallager Ost Our new clothing center (BZ) in Magdeburg is a warehouse with a size of approx. 50,000 m2, with over 45,000 pallet pitches and functional areas. There the business processes are perceived incoming goods, depositing and outsourcing, commissioning and distribution. It thus forms the interface between the purchase and the delivery of goods to the soldiers at one of our more than 100 service stations. As a manager, you take over the technical and disciplinary leadership for a team of about 50 employees and promote development based on an area structure by process areas. Responsibility for strategic and operational management of business operations in the region. Staff deployment and resource planning is your responsibility – in cooperation with the Area Managers and taking into account internal and external capacities. You regularly agree with relevant stakeholders. You design the construction, development and control of our processes to ensure efficient processing of all requirements. Together with your team, you will ensure the performance of defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and relevant KPIs. You drive forward projects to optimize, process and digitize the processes in the field of warehouse logistics and work closely with adjacent departments.

Complete studies in the field of business, supply chain management, logistics or comparable qualification More than 5 years of experience in a relevant role in logistics, processing, circulatory logistics or similar fields Management experience of at least 5 years, of which at least 3 years of disciplinary responsibility for > 20 employees Very good MS Office knowledge, ideal experience in handling SAP/ High readiness and agile and independent working Good rhetorical skills, enforcement strength, reliability and hands-on mentality Efforts to make decisions and the ability to take responsibility
