Location: Germany-wide, Germany

As a Software Solution Design Engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d), you take over the conception, planning and partial implementation of software solutions that are precisely tailored to business or technical requirements. In this role, you combine sound technical know-how with systemic thinking and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders – always with the aim of shaping sustainable and efficient solutions.

You understand and analyze business requirements You work closely with commercial departments, product owners, developers and customers You develop scalable, predictable and efficient software architectures You choose appropriate technologies, frameworks and tools You work closely with developers to ensure that the design is implemented correctly and supports technical challenges during implementation You make sure the solution is safe, performant and manageable You're getting into code and architecture reviews You're watching trends, evaluating new technologies and bringing impulses

A completed study of (economic) informatics, software engineering, digital engineering or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in software development or IT architecture design Understanding software architectures, design patterns and modern development paradigms Experience with distributed systems, APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ideally cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Safe handling of modeling methods Ability to technically translate business requirements and to communicate complex technical relationships in a comprehensible manner Teamability, initiative and a solution-oriented approach Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
