Employee Information Security with a focus on BCM and BIA (m/f/d)

You take over the independent implementation, control and further development of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) as well as the protection requirements class determination (SBF) for the RheinLand Insurance Group. In doing so, you match the results with the business processes, plausitise reviews, dependencies and critiques, and provide a comprehensible documentation. Together with the departments, you evaluate the impact of process failures, in particular technical, financial, regulatory, reputational and operational damage. On this basis, you will determine central restart parameters such as maximum tolerable downtime, restart times, restart levels and priorities for critical business processes. You analyze dependencies between processes, applications, service providers, information, premises and other resources and take into account these in the evaluation of critiques and restart priorities. You further develop methods, guidelines and specifications relating to BIA and SBF and ensure that the results can be used as a resilient basis for emergency precautionary concepts, emergency manuals and continuity strategies. Regulatory requirements from ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27001, DORA and other specifications evaluate yourself and transfer them into practical internal processes. A special focus is on the technical management of a project to migrate BIA/SBF into a future-oriented digital tool. This allows you to move at the interface of Business Continuity Management, Information Security, IT Risk Management and Operational Business and sustainably strengthen the resilience of the RheinLand Insurance Group.

You have a degree in economics, computer science, economic informatics, insurance, information security or a comparable qualification. You bring practical experience in carrying out business impact analyses and protection requirements classes. You are familiar with the collection and evaluation of business processes, process dependencies, critical resources and restart parameters. You are safe in dealing with typical BIA methods such as questionnaires, interviews, workshops, damage analyses as well as plausibility and prioritization of results. You have well-founded knowledge in the regulatory environment, in particular on business continuity management, information security and ICT risk management. Standards and regulations like ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27001 and DORA are familiar to you and you can transfer their requirements to practice. Ideally, you know the construction of emergency precautionary concepts, emergency manuals and continuity strategies. Experience in project management, in particular in tool introductions, migrations or digitization of governance, risk or compliance processes, is advantageous. You work independently, structured and solution-oriented, keep track of complex dependencies and develop pragmatic solutions. You communicate safely with disciplines, IT units and governance functions and can communicate complex issues in a comprehensible and address-oriented manner. You have the pleasure of taking responsibility, developing processes and actively shaping a key topic for the resilience of the RheinLand Insurance Group.
