The German Pension Insurance (DRV) Baden-Württemberg is one of the largest regional providers of statutory pension insurance with around 3,600 employees. Our digitization department shapes the digital transformation of pension insurance as part of nationwide IT projects and develop secure, user-centric digital solutions for citizens, citizens and administrative employees. We want to develop our existing core system in a future-proof manner. Information security plays a major role for us as a KRITIS company. Together with around 400 colleagues from various pension insurance companies, we are driving the biggest transformation in the history of the DRV. As part of our development team, You design user-centric digital products (Web & Mobile) and bring your well-founded professional experience and expertise throughout the UX/UI process. You take responsibility for the end-to-end conception of digital products (Human-Centred Design) and design modern user interfaces and process-oriented solutions for the further development of DRV's services with You take over all tasks from user research (explorative/evaluative) with interviews, usability tests, surveys to the development of usage concepts. Use Personas, Customer Journeys, User Flows and focus on the benefit. You create low- to high-fidelity Wireframes, prototypes and final UI designs, work on the construction and continuous development of design systems. Your tasks include quality assurance in the development process (design and front-end reviews, hand-off via Figma/Zeplin), the further development of our design processes and methods in the team, as well as methodological support in the optimization of professional, organisational and technical processes. A close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams from administration, development, QS/test and project management is of course for you and You take over the technical control of Junior UX designers just as much as the cooperation in domestic and nationwide projects. You have a successfully completed study in UX Design, Interface Design, Media Design, HCI, Computer Science or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in UX/UI design, ideally in agile IT product development teams and complex systems, as well as a well-founded knowledge in the collection of user requirements and the design of user-friendly applications and services, as well as the common standards in accessibility, will also help you. Your deep knowledge of user-centric methods (user research, usability testing, prototyping) and your experience in professional responsibility for UX teams as well as their guidance complement your profile. You are committed to the organisational objectives and a sovereign stakeholder management. The safe handling of common design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma), knowledge and experience in agile frameworks (ideally SAFe) as well as knowledge of hybrid project environments (e.g. waterfall/agil combined) is one of your capabilities as well as communication and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence). You also have project and process security in complex digital products (web, mobile, saaS, platforms) and good knowledge in lecture and presentation techniques as well as an eye for typography, layout and visual design.
