The ZRE Center for Resources and Energy GmbH at the Borsigstraße site is a plant for the thermal recovery of waste in the East of Hamburg and a 100% subsidiary of the City Cleaning Hamburg AöR. The plant serves primarily for the environmentally sound and safe disposal of municipal waste from Hamburg. In addition to the safety of disposal, the energy obtained is used in the form of steam and a separate district heating connection with the aid of large heat pumps and flue gas condensation for the district heating supply of the Hamburg households. The ZRE thus takes on a nationwide pioneer in the field of energy recovery. In addition, the ZRE operates a biomass power plant for the recovery of old wood. The CO2-neutral energy obtained is fed into the respective Hamburg supply networks in the form of electricity and heat generated in the combined heat and power generation. Then you take a central role with us: as a shift manager in day-to-day service, you support the location management in the planning and coordination of production, accompany demanding maintenance and plant projects and, together with the shift teams, ensure safe and efficient plant operation. You combine technical know-how, leadership skills and organizational skills and contribute significantly to the continuous optimization of our operating processes. Your responsibility: Production coordination You support the location management in the planning and control of production and, together with the shift teams, ensure the achievement of the defined production targets. Interface between production and maintenance You coordinate planned maintenance measures, revisions and technical projects from the perspective of production and ensure that measures, production requirements and operational processes are optimally coordinated. Operational and Process Optimization You analyse disturbances and deviations, develop appropriate measures together with the relevant specialist areas and accompany their implementation. Support the continuous improvement of our plant and operating processes.
