Linux System Engineer (m/f/d)

As Linux System Engineer (gn), you are responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of new complex Linux systems in the POS/Kassen environment (Linux-OS-Bezahl Platform / RHEL, Rocky).

The implementation of projects (e.g. new operating systems, new hardware devices and third-party applications) is one of your main tasks.

In your role, you design the construction and operation of automation pipelines as an integral part of Continuous Integration & - Deployment environments (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Podman).

Your Linux Know How allows you to analyze operating concepts and systems in terms of security vulnerabilities and curing of the Linux system.

A completed study or a corresponding technical training, with broad knowledge of Linux based operating systems, forms the basis for your successful entry with us.

The use and administration of Linux in productive customer environments is very familiar to you.

Your tool box is equipped with good knowledge in handling continuous integration systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins,...), continuous deployment concepts and safe handling of version control (GIT).
