This makes this job interesting for me: 50Hertz develops the network control system of the future, MCCS (Modular Control Center System) to meet the requirements for digitalization in the energy transition. For this purpose, the intelligent use of data and the development of a central network model are essential for success, because we manage highly complex data of our power grid with the highest requirements for availability and data quality for millions of real-time data points of our power grid. I shape this change and closely accompany the associated development of data strategy and data usage. With the Master Data System, our Ecosystem manages data that is essential for the control and monitoring of a transmission network: assets such as lines, transformers, switches, sensors, as well as generation systems and many more. My tasks: Conception & strategy: I develop a future-oriented concept for handling master data for network and plant information including sensors and actuators for a modern (SCADA / EMS), Stakeholder management: I take up complex requirements from the field and the product teams and build bridges between business logic (network management) and technical implementation, Agile Leadership: I take the professional leadership of the Product Team (Developer, Solution Architects, Data Engineers) as well as the maintenance and prioritization of the team backlog based on the Product Line Roadmap.

Studies & Foundation: Complete studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering (focus on energy technology), business information technology or a comparable qualification with technical understanding, Agile Expertise: Experience as Product Owner, Product Manager or in a comparable role in an agile software environment (Scrum, Kanban, ideally experience with scaled frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS), Data Engineering know-how: basic understanding of modern data architectures (e.g. databases, message brokers such as Kafka, Kubernetes-based deployments) and the logic of Calculation Engines, Language knowledge: I have knowledge of German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (B2) in word and writing, Excessive skills: I act as a fast-paced bridge builder who translates the complex requirements into technical user stories and consistently prioritizes product value. Even in critical project phases, I certainly moderate between technology and operation and always maintain the necessary resilience. No need, but of advantage: Experience with SCADA/EMS systems and real-time data processing.
