Our client is part of an international group for which we are looking for a head of R&D (m/w/d) in the metal industry within a discrete mandate. Are you looking for responsible tasks, bringing experience in product launch in series production, like in the context of compressors or pumps? Leadership and further development of the R&D team You are responsible for the R&D budget to ensure efficient innovation You drive innovation forward and develop new products together with your team until the introduction of series production You and your team are responsible for optimizing the existing product portfolio, always looking at current market developments and competition Product Lifecycle Management is your responsibility You are responsible for the project and keep track of your experience in multi-project management They function as an interface to various internal departments such as product management, purchasing, marketing etc. and work closely with them.

Complete degree in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification They bring leadership experience in research & development as well as many years of professional experience in mechanical engineering with well-founded knowledge, ideally in the field of compressors or pumps with You combine your technical expertise with your business and strategic expertise Experience in (multi-)project management as well as working in a matrix organization are of course for you Your communication strength distinguishes you which connect you with a modern leadership culture Very good English skills
