Number: MER0003WZX The automotive industry is changing. Digitization and the transition to electromobility are driving this change. IT systems have evolved into a significant productivity factor and the potential to be implemented through IT solutions has not been exhausted for a long time. We are the IT Center of Competence (CoC) Quality Production Products. Our production-oriented IT solutions are used in Germany and abroad, such as the USA, China, South Africa, Hungary and Slovenia. Our mission is to advance the digitization of production with our innovative IT solutions. In addition, we need to further develop our existing IT application structure in a sustainable manner. Our team is responsible for IT solutions for quality management in global production along the entire value chain. This includes the provision and further development of software for the collection, analysis, documentation and archiving of quality-relevant data on processes of industrial production and assembly. These exciting challenges await you in the internship: Support in the future design of quality IT systems Process documentation for actual and target images according to BPMN Working with the rollout of our applications for the production of new series Close cooperation with users for implementing new requirements Support in testing new technologies such as GenAI The internship can start from March 2026.

Study course with mandatory internship of the IT department, e.g. computer science, business informatics, production technology or business engineering with a focus on computer science or comparable studies

Ideally, you bring know-how into agile working methods and their supporting tools (e.g. Atlassian) Passion and motivation to shape the digital production of the future The challenge of innovation and the use of new methods Responsibility and team skills Self-oriented and structured work Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
