Head of Product Development in Direct Placement (m/f/d)

For a successful industrial company operating Europe-wide, we were exclusively commissioned with the occupation of the position manager:in product development. Our partner develops, produces and sells high-quality valves for refrigeration and air conditioning. Thanks to a modern machine park, innovative manufacturing processes and a pronounced production depth, future-oriented solutions for national and international customers are created at the site in Thuringia.

Professional and disciplinary leadership of the product development team (currently 5 employees) Promotion, motivation and further development of employees Management of development and optimization projects and active cooperation in the project business Responsibility for the development and development of products and assemblies (e.g. valves) for refrigeration and air conditioning Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines and customer requirements Creation, maintenance and further development of technical documentation, specifications and production documents Implementation of product and cost optimization across the entire product lifecycle Close cooperation with customers, suppliers and internal departments

Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable discipline As an alternative, a completed training to:to the technician:with corresponding professional experience Knowledge of the application of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) Experience in handling product certifications, especially according to PED, UL and REACH Practice in the production and maintenance of technical documentation Secure handling of SAP as well as common CAD/CAM systems, such as AutoCAD or Siemens NX Experience in managing and implementing technical development projects Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English (at least B2) Communication strength and structured and solution-oriented mode of operation
