Senior Consultant Data Engineering & Architecture im Team Data Management (m/f/d)

Design data platforms, automate pipelines, empower teams You support our customers in building modern data platforms and implementing complex data engineering solutions. In doing so, you will ensure stable pipelines, agile development processes and sustainable data culture. Beraten: You support our customers in the design and implementation of data platforms, ETL/ELT routes and the automation of data pipelines.

Develop: Sovereign builds modern data platforms based on Spark, dbt or SQL, expands standardization and automation frameworks and secures stable operation.

Model: In the Solution Design, you unveil individual data models such as Data Vault, Star Schema or Data Products and implement CI/CD pipelines for agile development processes. Enablen: Workshops run, customer teams train in new technologies and strengthen the Data Culture through best practices.

Taxes: You take part- or total project responsibility, managst sprints via Jira or Azure DevOps and care for a timely and high-quality delivery.

Engineering background: well-founded experience in data engineering and software engineering with Python/PySpark, Scala and SQL. Solid understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse and Data Mesh concepts

Tool competence: practical knowledge in modern tools such as dbt, airflow, terraform and cloud data stacks (MS Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake), experience in the integration of AI technologies to support development processes

Data expertise: very good SQL knowledge, deep understanding of data structures and performance optimization, knowledge of data modeling and history. Advantageous expertise in the FSI industry (banks, insurance)

Consulting Mindset: Analytical way of thinking, high own initiative, joy in solving complex customer problems in agile projects

Communication: very good knowledge of German and English (C1) and safe occurrence in customer contact
