As Chief Accountant (m/w/d), you take a central role in our financial department. You are responsible for the proper management of the main accounting and ensure that all business transactions are recorded on time and in accordance with the applicable accounting regulations (HGB/IFRS). You are a direct contact for auditors and tax advisors and work closely with internal and external interfaces.

Completion: Examination and control of all issues relevant to the month's financial statements, e.g. provisions and limitations

Intercompany agreement: booking and coordination of intercompany expertise and exchange with related companies

Completion of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts by local law and IFRS

Account clarification: monitoring and coordination of the main account accounts and secondary accounting (debitors, creditors, investments)

Tax management: preparation and creation of sales tax pre-registrations

Process optimization: further development, standardization and digitization of accounting processes and internal control systems

Reporting: compiling and auditing balance sheets and reporting to our group of companies in France

Education: Completed studies of the business economy (focus on finance/invoicing) or commercial training with further education on the accounting book holder (IHK)

Professional experience: Multiannual relevant experience in financial accounting, ideally in the medium-sized environment

IT knowledge: Secure handling of common ERP systems (e.g. SAP, DATEV or JD Edwards) as well as very good Excel knowledge

Working method: Structured, careful and self-responsive operation with high numerical affinity

Languages: Very good German and good English skills
