Product Security Architect - Cybersecurity / OT (m/f/d)

In this function, SAMSON actively shapes the safety of our products and ensures that our OT security architectures meet the highest technical and regulatory requirements. You combine your experience in software development and security architecture with a strong understanding of embedded systems and cybersecurity. You work closely with development, testing, product management and system engineering and accompany safety-relevant topics from risk analysis to implementation. Your task: You make our products safe – today and for the requirements of tomorrow. Your tasks: For new and existing products, you conduct risk assessments and security risk assessments As part of Threat Modeling, you analyze threats, evaluate security risks and support in the Incident Response You develop and coordinate secure OT security architectures across products and projects Based on relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements, you will develop technical recommendations and product-specific safety requirements To implement regulatory and normative requirements, support product development, in particular with regard to the EU Cyber Resilience Act (EU-CRA), IEC 62443 and other relevant requirements You create secure system architectures, for example for Secure Boot and Secure Software Update mechanisms Project teams advise you on safety-relevant technical decisions and support the implementation of appropriate safety measures Track and evaluate security incidents and ensure the necessary countermeasures together with the responsible teams You accompany OT security audits, customer audits and cooperation with external service providers To develop a sustainable cybersecurity culture, you actively participate and support training on OT security architectures

You have a degree in computer science, electrical and information technology or a comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in software development and security architecture Finding knowledge of cybersecurity, security protocols, EU-CRA and IEC 62443 as well as experience with Secure Boot, Secure Update Mechanisms and cryptographic Procedures In the field of software and system architecture, you have very good C/C++ skills as well as experience with embedded devices, RTOS and hardware access Analytical thinking, a structured and independent way of working as well as a pronounced problem-solving competence, you will be able to convey complex technical facts in a comprehensible manner Agiles and interdisciplinary work is of course for you - and you are sure to communicate in German and English (each level C1) and understand how to advance professional topics beyond different teams even without disciplinary responsibility Ideally, complement your profile with relevant security certifications and knowledge in training methods
