Your new sphere of action

The CJD is one of the largest educational and social enterprises in Germany. Its approximately 11,000 employees support and support children, young people and adults at more than 350 locations in Kitas, schools, vocational education and training plants, in clinics, rehabilitation facilities, housing groups and workshops.

The Project Chance offers criminal young men (14–21 years) an alternative way to detention. Through an intensive educational training program, they are supported to take responsibility for their actions and to develop new perspectives.

As a teacher (w/m/d) accompany young people on this path, give educational impulses and promote their personal development and social integration.

Your New Task

• Support and support for young people in the residential and leisure areas
• Reference work with young people, parents and caregivers
• Training group dynamic processes as well as carrying out leisure, sports and day offers
• Accompanying legal negotiations and administrative appointments
• Conflict management in challenging group situations
• structuring everyday life to promote self-responsibility and social competence
• Implementation of legal requirements in juvenile detention and youth assistance
• Integration of young people through targeted educational impulses

Your profile

• Completed training as a state-approved educator (w/m/d), youth and home educator (w/m/d) or
• Complete study of social work, social education or comparable qualification
• Experience in working with behavioural young people desirable
• rest, balance, patience and enforcement
• ready for shift service, even on weekends
• Remarkable is the membership of a Christian church belonging to the working community of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany
