For the organizational unit Payment Platform Wallet we are looking for the next possible appointment for the Hanover, Münster or Frankfurt am Main site Software Developer (m/w/d).

Our division stands for innovative solutions in the fields of payment and end customer communication. Our department develops modern processes for payment solutions, such as end customer-centric platforms for card and account-related services. These are developed and provided as multi-channel solutions. We also bear the responsibility for channel-specific optimizations, in particular for payment in the Sparkasse app. Note: The department is represented at the Münster and Hannover locations.

Conception, implementation and optimization of frontend and backend solutions using specific development tools and programming languages (e.g. Java, React, Kotlin, Spring) Structure of software development work by modern methods Ensuring system and product quality Design and implementation of complex database models Implementation of complex fault analyses for the sustainable improvement of processes and systems Designing methods for implementing AI solutions (e.g. for integrating payment processes into agentic tools) Development and support of multi-channel software solutions (e.g. Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform)

Successfully completed subject-related studies or comparable training At least two to three years of professional experience, preferably in payment or app projects Advanced knowledge of Java, React, Kotlin, JavaScript / TypeScript, Spring Boot / Spring Batch Experience with frameworks, databases, servers, development tools and design patterns Expertise in agile working methods of software development and understanding of IT security and responsible handling of AI tools Analytical thinking and problem-solving competence Knowledge of modern devops processes and tools as well as expertise in agile working methods of software development readiness to travel activities
