With excellent technical know-how, the company stands for the product development of reliable electronic systems and assemblies, for professional supply chain coordination and strong technical expertise. The medium-sized company has grown strongly in recent years and has been economically strong. The customer base includes companies from the Industrial, Climate and Marine Technology segments – further segments are under construction. The customer relationships are long-term, resilient and are characterized by a high reorder rate. Around 50 employees work at the Lübeck site, of which about 30 engineers work:in the development and supply chain management. A BU Head Mission Technologies (m/w/d) is now being sought in the course of further business development.

Head of Mission Technologies Business Unit as an independent entrepreneur in the company and with full P&L responsibility disciplinary and professional leadership of the first management level of the BU; Total responsibility for all employees (about 20), programs and projects within the BU Mission Technologies Valuable and encouraging leadership of the employees of the Business Unit including the establishment of a performance-oriented and independent organizational culture Development and continuous development of a sustainable business plan for BU Mission Technologies, including growth, earnings and investment targets Total Responsibility for Sales, Contributions and Earnings of the BU based on defined KPIs, rolling forecasts and budget specifications Active expansion of the customer portfolio in relevant markets, identification, qualification and development of strategic key accounts and long-term customer partnerships Initiation and implementation of measures to increase efficiency within the BU Identification, assessment and transfer of relevant technology and market trends in innovative marketable solutions Priority and control of strategically relevant programs and projects, ensuring timeliness, quality and cost-effectiveness in project implementation Building and maintaining a resilient network of customers, technology partners and relevant actors in the BU target markets

You have completed your studies in electrical engineering, engineering, computer science or a comparable technical-economic study programme An additional study or a well-founded commercial practice is advantageous Multiannual professional experience in the development, production or distribution of complex electronic systems or technical products Proven experience in managing a business unit, an area or comparable organizational unit with complete P&L responsibility Funded understanding of mission-critical application environments, such as marine, defence or security technology Good knowledge of the defence industry and relevant stakeholders Detectional Successes in Business Development Practice in controlling supply processes and contract negotiations with demanding industrial customers German and good knowledge of English in word and writing German citizenship is mandatory
