Group Leader Robot-Assisted Surgery (m/f/d)

Your work focuses on the development and development of application-related software, technology and process developments in the field of medical technology – together with your interdisciplinary team. Our platform Lübeck Innovation Hub for Robotic Surgery (LIROS) focuses on the development of innovative instruments, the validation of new operating methods and the optimization of human-machine interactions, and the topics of the connected surgery. Other platforms – such as the ex-vivo organ perfusion as a test environment for pacemakers, stents and ablation methods – open up additional research and recovery opportunities. Your activities focus on the following tasks: Close professional and scientific leadership of your employees and accompanying their projects, publications and training projects Design and implementation of transferable technologies – from application-oriented development to transfer to industrial and clinical applications Development of existing research priorities and identification and development of new technology fields Acquisition and management of strategic projects in the field of research and development, as well as active network and committee work, also at international level Further development of existing research priorities and identification and development of new research and technology fields Co-responsibility for the economic development of your topic including resource and earnings planning Acquisition and management of projects in the field of research and development and participation in networks and bodies Promoting the scientific visibility of your team through publications, lectures and cooperations

Completed doctorate A completed academic degree programme (Master/Diplom) in robotics, computer science, cybernetics, electrical engineering or mechatronics or a comparable discipline Multiannual relevant professional experience in the field of medical technology, ideally associated with first leadership or project management responsibility Experience gained in the recruitment of third-party applications and industrial projects A resilient network to partners from industry and science Experience in project acquisition, planning and management and ideally extensive practice in the international, scientifically influenced and industrial environment Negotiation security to customers and project partners High self-initiative and readiness for performance as well as excellent communication skills – both in German and English – complemented by strong team orientation We are aware that every resume is unique.
