The professional leadership of expert teams to analytically penetrate complex questions of the electromagnetic struggle for air force, BAAINBw and international partners, the area in which you want to contribute your expertise? Do you want to actively shape technologies, skills and strategic decisions in the electromagnetic struggle – from system evaluation to technological roadmap?

Does the challenge of technologically assessing electromagnetic threats and derive effective protection and countermeasures for complex defence systems?

The Defence & Security division is particularly committed to the armed forces and a recognised technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the support of analysis, development and implementation projects and the provision of services.

Activity

• Complete technical consulting and customer support in highly complex projects
• Technical management of internal expert teams within the specific theme of the electromagnetic struggle.
• Presentation and management of the customer in national and international bodies, working groups and expert meetings.
• Ensuring the requirement management for the BAAINBw, the Air Force and other Bundeswehr services to optimize the degree of fulfillment
• Ability-based assessment of market-available and active systems including derivation of strategic measures to increase effectiveness
• Continuous further development of the technology roadmap Electromagnetic struggle in the team
• Leading creation of sound analyses and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Building and strategic development of a cross-sector knowledge base and ensuring the IABG-wide know-how transfer

Preconditions

• Long-standing, relevant professional experience in military aviation as well as in the field of electromagnetic struggle (EK)
• existing network of relevant departments (e.g. KdoLw, LwTrKdo, SUZ, ZEK), NETMA and relevant industrial companies in the EK environment
• Self-employed, targeted and structured working methods combined with strong team, communication and delegation capability
• Safe occurrence in the military environment, preferably by own active service time
• National and international readiness
• Security of negotiation in German and English
