Network Management Engineer - Dispatching Power (a*)

Your responsibility lies in the control and monitoring of flexible services. In doing so, you act on active and reactive power schedules and actively support the network control point in maintaining system stability in real time. You monitor the Redispatch processes and coordinate bottleneck management measures. In addition, you carry plant checks according to § 12 para. 12b of the Energy Economic Act and responsible for the technical implementation of the controllable consumables. In addition, you take the technical administration for our network calculation systems. You secure the data quality in the GLDPM and use ad hoc simulations to secure the operational network management in dynamic network situations. As a “second-level support” for the network control center in complex system states, you develop concepts for modern feed management and represent our technical concerns in specialist working groups.

You have a completed (special) university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of professional experience in the field of network operation. You are able to stay calm even under pressure, make decisions quickly and take responsibility. Your instructions are clear, precise and unambiguous – especially in critical situations. You are a reliable contact for our specialist departments and neighboring network operators. You have a well-founded knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines, and you're planning a safe handling of IT systems and ideally the first project experience. A pronounced communication and organizational capability as well as a service-oriented and team-ready operation. A safety check is also required for this body.
