A research and transfer unit will be set up at the TiHo under the umbrella of the research and transfer service as part of the third-party funded future project “One Welfare – Expand Potentials Strategically”. The aim of the unit is, inter alia, to systematically support translational research and development processes and to strengthen the structural prerequisites for a successful transfer of scientific results into application-oriented contexts. As a central contact and consultancy for researchers and companies on questions of translational transfer, you actively contribute to the development of this unit and contribute significantly to the transfer culture of the TiHo. Their tasks include in particular: Active development, maintenance and strategic development of a network with industrial partners, SMEs, start-ups and other external actors in the area of TiHo's research priorities Initiation and monitoring of cooperation projects and commission research projects in the field of One Welfare, Animal Health and Human Medicine Business Development: Identification and development of new exploitation and cooperation potentials Participation in the strategic development of the TiHo transfer and study infrastructure Building and further development of quality assurance structures for transfer-oriented, customer-oriented services

Successfully completed relevant university studies (animal medicine, medicine, natural sciences or life science) First experience in the field of transfer management, research coordination or comparable editing functions Very good communication skills in German and English (in word and writing) Impressed communication and consulting skills in dealing with researchers and the ability to communicate complex regulatory and transfer-related issues in an address-oriented and practical manner Required expertise and personal skills Proven competence in quality management, ideally related to recovery processes Knowledge in cooperation management, preferably in the context of contract research or public-private partnerships Experience in business development, in particular in the establishment of industrial cooperation and the exploitation of research results Willingness to continue in the field of study management
