As a business intelligence architect (w/m/d), you design the BI and data landscape of the OOWV and develop future-oriented solutions for reporting, analysis and data management. You combine architecture and consulting skills, guide projects and drive the use of modern BI technologies. Design, structure and consolidate the business intelligence application and system landscape along our IT strategy and ensure optimal support for business processes You observe technological trends in the BI and data environment and assess their potential for use in the OOWV You advise on the selection of suitable software solutions for reporting and analysis, data management and processing, metadata management as well as warehouse and data storage architectures and support their implementation You select external service providers, control their use and ensure the quality of the services provided You run BI projects, like using agile methods, and answer budget, quality and dates You advise and support users (w/m/d) and key users (w/m/d) of the BI systems and continuously develop support processes You design and implement complex reporting solutions, ETL processes and data models
You have a successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable discipline Alternatively, you have a completed IT or IT-related vocational training and can demonstrate several years of relevant professional experience in the business intelligence environment. You have professional experience in internal or external SAP consulting on the topics BI methodology and/or data modeling You can demonstrate well-founded experience in data modeling, in the use of common reporting tools and in handling at least one relational database (e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, HANA). Multiannual project experience, experience in cooperation with external service providers and good English skills are beneficial Your German knowledge corresponds at least to the language level C1 You convince by consulting and design competence, work structured and bring openness to changes and innovative technologies with Your profile is rounded off by customer-oriented action as well as target-group and address-oriented communication skills
