At the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Faculty of Medicine, Central Service 16, Department of Clinical Infectiology, it is now possible to occupy the temporary position of a specialist* specialist for children and youth medicine (m-w-d) in full time. Depending on the task transfer and fulfilment of the personal requirements, the remuneration will be paid up to the remuneration group A2 TV doctors. They work under the supervision of an experienced team of children and adult infectologists as well as pharmacists focusing on infectiology. There is the possibility to acquire the additional name infectiology and to become ABS expert in accordance with the curriculum of the Federal Medical Chamber.

Work tasks:

• Activities in the TELE Medical Competence Network "Antibiotic Stewardship in PEdiatRics-Connect" (TeleKasper-Connect) – technical examination and updating of the TeleKasper app, processing and answering medical consiles via the Infectiological Visits and Office in the paediatric ambulance Infectiological Konsil Service
• Participation in the development of a Diagnostic Stewardship program in the pediatrics
• Supply of patients with all risk groups including hemato/oncology and neonatology
• Activities in the Antibiotic Stewardship (ABS) program of the Paediatrics of the University Hospital Halle – Participation in ABS Visions, Participation in the creation of SOP`s and internal standards for antibiotic therapy, evaluation of pathogen and resistance data in surveillance projects

Requirements:

• Completed academic studies in the course of medicine
• Approbation as a doctor
• Target-oriented operation
• Specialist doctor for pediatric and juvenile medicine Funded knowledge in o. g. field and clinical experience Interest in scientific activities Interest in clinical infectiology Experiences in the field of antibiotic stewardship programs are desirable Very good teaching skills Team skills
