Lead Engineer (m/w/d) International Packaging Development

As Lead Engineer (m/w/d) in International Packaging Development, you are responsible for the development and evaluation of sustainable and economic packaging solutions with respect to quality, trade, consumer, legal and environmental requirements. In addition, you are responsible for optimizing existing packaging. In doing so, you identify cross-site harmonisation and standardization potentials both in packaging materials and in packaging formats and control their implementation. In close cooperation with cross-functional project teams and external stakeholders, you coordinate development projects in the packaging material and packaging technology sector. You will keep the market in mind and trade within the meaning of the Dr. Oetker Sustainability Charter. As a strategic partner*in you take responsibility for the ranges assigned to you. These include the control and monitoring of the international packaging concepts and the coordination and assistance of packaging-relevant questions. In addition, you support the works with new packaging materials or material alternatives during production tests and work out necessary quality standards.

You have completed your studies with the focus on packaging technology / packaging development or comparable. In addition to your multi-year professional experience in handling flexible and dimensionally stable packaging materials, you will also bring comprehensive project management experiences. You have good knowledge of SAP and common MS Office programs. You will also convince yourself by your excellent communication and network skills, which will lead you as a team player, or Enable cooperation in international and interdisciplinary teams. You are an organizational talent with a structured and independent way of working, characterized by analytical and entrepreneurial thinking. Your further strengths include your creativity, your own initiative and your enforcing ability. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing as well as your international readiness to travel complete your profile.
