The housing emergency aid of the Diakonie West Saxony supports people in social emergencies with Consultation, accompaniment and care. Our team of educational professionals helps to secure or create existential living conditions. The wide range of housing emergency aid includes our Consulting Centresin Glauchau, Werdau and Zwickau, the Consistencies in Zwickau and Werdau, the ambulantly supervised housing and the daystreff in Zwickau.

For the Consultation Centre and the ambulantly supervised housing in Zwickau we are looking for a social worker/social pedagogue (m/w/d) in parttime (min. 35 h/week).

80% of the work is done in the consultancy.

The body is to be replaced for a period of 1.5 years in the context of a pregnancy and parental leave.

Your tasks with us:

• Personal assistance, counselling and care according to §§ 67 et seq. SGB XII for people in social difficulties and special situations
• you accompany and support help seekers in their own residential environment and in Overnight stay
• You are responsible for appropriation, help planning, support documentation and preparation of Statistics
• you accompany to offices and authorities and set up within the meaning of a social attorney's activity for legally guaranteed claims in the context of the life assurance
• individual case assistance during the opening hours of counselling centres and targeted communications within our help system
• Network work with other cooperation partners such as Jobcenter, Guillerberatung, Suchtberatung, etc.

• completed Studium Social Work with the degree as Social Education / Social Worker (m/w/d) (Dipl. or Bachelor)
• very good knowledge and experience in SGB II and XII, especially in the areas of housing emergency aid, accommodation costs, aid, rent and energy debt, as well as in individual case advice
• Willingness to work in the consultancy office on two fixed days (Monday and Thursday) up to 5 p.m.
• pronounced social skills, openness, communication skills, flexibility and team skills
• passenger car license and willingness to use your own car for service purposes
