The AWO Youth Residential Group is an offer of help to educate according to the children – and youth welfare law. By linking everyday situations with educational and therapeutic offers, young adults are to be encouraged and guided in their development. Educational aid is intended to provide age and development with improved educational and living conditions for young people, so that a return to the family can be achieved at a later stage or is prepared for education in another family. The Youth Residential Group in our House "Wellenbrecher" offers space for young people aged 14 to 21 years and forms an own small community of life, which is intended to prepare for an independent life and to advise and support in matters of training/employment and general life management. You enjoy working with children and young people, then we look forward to you. In our group you support children and young people, accompany them in their everyday lives and promote them in their psychological and physical development. Social pedagogical support includes structuring the daily routine, handling money, learning household activities, promoting individual skills and strengths. Their tasks: priority social education and support for children, assistance in school/industrial/health/health matters 30 years of work experience
