Social pedagogue/-in consulting center Stuttgart-Wangen (m/w/d)

We are looking for you for the Youth Office of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay.

The consulting center Stuttgart-Wangen  consists of an interdisciplinary team in which professionals from the fields of social education/social work, administration and psychology work. This team ensures the basic psychosocial care of citizens between 0 and 63 years in Stuttgart-Wangen. You can find an insight into the various tasks in a consultancy centre *hier. *

• They advise mothers, fathers and children/young people in matters of education, custody and dealing
• Your area of responsibility includes separation and divorce advice, including participation in family court proceedings
• They control the process of assistance planning for educational aid
• They protect children and adolescents as part of the special guarantee of the General Social Service
• The city-part-related prevention and cooperation with other institutions as well as the implementation of welcome visits are also your tasks
• You are responsible for general social and life counselling for families, young people and single persons

This body corresponds to the tasks in the General Social Service (ASD).

Your profile that fits us

• A study in the field of social work or social education with state recognition, education or childhood education with equivalent skills and experience
• Finded legal and methodological knowledge for the psychosocial counselling of parents, children and adolescents and counselling with families with migration background
• willingness and interest in the professional and organizational development of the advisory centre, including preventive, participatory and participation-oriented offers and methods
• Good expressiveness in word and writing in the German language
