Responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation of FEM calculations Strength calculations of constructions of all kinds in the maritime environment Global strength analyses of ships and yachts in the sea Operational strength tests and vibration analyses Shock calculations (quasistatic & dynamic) and design of shock absorbers for devices and systems Strength and weight optimization of lightweight and steel structures Technical interpretation of simulation results including derivation of concrete improvement measures
Complete engineering studies, preferably in shipbuilding, shipbuilding or a similar technical field Professional experience in FEM calculation Good knowledge of pre/post processing and Femap / Solver Nastran Team skills, communication strength and enthusiasm for maritime technologies Analytical, structured and independent working methods German at a high level and good English skills
