The Vinzenz Hospital in Rheda-Wiedenbrück is one of five hospitals of the Catholic Hospital Association Ostwestfalen gGmbH. In the five specialist clinics and the five centers (Adipositaszentrum, Endoprothetikzentrum, Pain Ambulance, Diabetes Center and Alterstraumazentrum), about 5,400 stationary and 18,000 outpatient patients are supplied each year. It has access to the OP centre with three operating rooms, outpatient surgery options and the intensive care unit with eight beds. In the course of hospital planning NRW, Vinzenz Hospital has set the orthopedic focus of our hospital network, which includes the entire conservative and operative orthopaedic. As a center of focus for endoprosthetics, the clinic has a supra-regional reputation for joint replacement operations ( hips, knees, shoulders and small joints). It is a certified endoprosthetic centre, carries out more than 500 endoprosthetic interventions annually and offers them in modern minimally invasive procedures as well as in robot-assisted surgery procedures. Further focuses: Arthroscopic operations on shoulders and knees have been an integral part of therapy for a long time. In accident surgery, the clinic covers the entire spectrum of conservative and surgical bone fracture treatment on the stem and axis skeleton. The most modern and dynamic osteosynthesis methods are especially available in child traumatology. There is a full training authorization for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery as well as the training authorization for special accident surgery and special orthopaedic surgery.
