I am working as a specialist in occupational safety (w/m/d) on a genuine basis and with a lot of enthusiasm, because it concerns the safety and health of my colleagues. Through my participation in controls and decreases of plants, I am close to the daily business. Here I advise and support with a lot of own initiative and maintain the necessary sovereignty in dealing with people and situations. Based on the experiences of everyday working life, I continuously develop the HSE topics entrusted to me in a practical and effective manner. My tasks: I work systematically to identify hazards proactively and preventively (e.g. through risk assessments and hazard analysis of workplaces), I therefore reject necessary protective measures if necessary and carry out effective controls; I formulate the rules and regulations, health & safety and fire safety plans, taking into account professional regulations, As a specialist in safety at work, I also carry out inspections in the plants with the fire protection workers and agree closely with the local fire brigades, I implement occupational health management in cooperation with occupational physicians in the regional centre, I create training plans and support managers in training, I monitor compliance with rules and regulations, establish audit and control regimes and accompany certifications (e.g. ISO 45001), I develop a location-based reporting to make the IST stand transparent internally and externally, I actively support the leading specialist in occupational safety in the implementation of the cross-company Health & Safety regulations and their further development, In addition, I work closely with the central area of corporate governance (including occupational health and safety) as well as with the other professionals for occupational safety of the individual regional centres.
