Get to know the everyday working day of a press spokesperson at Mercedes-Benz and use the opportunity to gain insights into the media work of an international company and to actively shape it. Team Drivetrain Technologies focuses on the communication of all strategic topics of conventional drive systems, electromobility (charge technologies, electric motors, batteries, Eco Coach App) as well as regulatory and emission-relevant topics. Within the global communication of Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans, the Technology Communications department is responsible for all strategic topics of electromobility, autonomous driving and far-reaching security aspects, innovations & research and the management communication of the Mercedes-Benz Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With our understanding of PR, we are following an integrative approach that, in addition to classic media, also serves other target groups from investors to end customers. These challenges include: Participation in the preparation and implementation of media events Create and edit articles and texts for different canals Participation in the design and implementation of TV and video productions Participation in the processing of press requests, creation of questions and response catalogs (Q&As), briefings, PowerPoint presentations etc. Monitoring and documentation of Mercedes-Benz reporting and competitors Research and preparation of figures, data and facts All tasks are carried out in close exchange of information with international press and market colleagues.

With this profile you fit us: Continuous studies in the course of Communications, BWL / VWL, Public Relations, Humanities or Social Sciences or a comparable course of studies Safe handling of MS Office and social media Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Commitment and team skills Strategic and independent working and communication skills Experience in communication desirable driving licence class B Joy and experience in writing texts of advantage Additional information: Internship duration: at least 6 months (35h/week) Of course, without formalities, we are not.
