As Head of Department*in you take over the disciplinary and professional leadership of a team of around 25 employees. The services include pollutants in buildings and industry (asbestos, mold etc.), healthier construction, workplace measurements, laboratory services in microbiology & hygiene and drinking water analysis. You will be part of the executive team Energy & Environment. Together you are responsible for budget planning and budget management for your area. With your ideas and innovations, you drive business development with your team. In the management of your department, You independently control all relevant personnel topics, such as deployment planning, new adjustment and training. You create a positive culture characterized by team spirit, motivation and self-responsibility. Organise and structure sales together with our professional sales and give this important goals and impulses. In addition, you are actively engaged in sales activities. You ensure compliance with customer orders and associated delivery and performance obligations.

Engineerin technical environmental protection, civil engineerin, architectin, economistin with microbiological or hygienic focus or comparable Funded knowledge in the field of hazardous materials or microbiology & hygiene including laboratory analysis and ideally multiannual professional experience and experience with accredited test procedures First experience required in the disciplinary leadership of staff and joy in the motivation and leadership of well-trained academics Acquisition and customer and competitive orientation Good communication skills, sense of responsibility, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, basic business knowledge desirable Very good German knowledge in word and writing, Class B driving licence
