As an IT system administrator (m/w/d) with focus on Linux, you are part of our IT team and are responsible for the stable, secure and automated operation of our Linux system landscape. You operate, manage and automate our Linux system landscape. You continuously maintain and develop the central configuration management. You install, manage and update Linux systems. You develop and optimize concepts for automated operating system installations and commissioning processes. You help the team integrate hyperscaler and cloud infrastructures. You develop and establish IT security standards, especially in the field of patch management and system hardening. You analyze and edit Linux support cases and work closely with manufacturers, colleagues and customers. You create technical documentation and maintain existing documentation.

You have a degree in computer science or an education as a specialist (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification successfully completed. You have very good knowledge in the field of Linux. You master shell and script languages like Bash or Python. You have experience in virtualization and automation, ideally with Ansible, Puppet, Foreman and Terraform. You ideally have experiences in handling hyperscaler or cloud infrastructures. You are characterized by an analytical way of thinking and a structured, careful and flexible way of working. You bring a high motivation for the Linux area as well as the willingness to continuously develop professionally. You complete your profile with very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
