Be you. Two brands, a workplace full of event magic: At Sheraton & Marriott Frankfurt Airport Hotel we organize hundreds of events every year – from exclusive business meetings to major international events. If you like events, speed, and want to lead a team to top performances, start with us as a banquet manager (m/w/d). Your main tasks include: Total operational responsibility for all banquets and events in our house incl. Set-up/Breakdown according to standards, perfect implementation of BEOs and hands-on presence in service Guest Satisfaction & host role: main contact partner*in on site for organisers; proactive feedback management, professional complaint management with consistent follow-up; continuous service improvement Economics & Planning: Layer Plans based on Forecast & Service Standards; Control of all banquet costs (drinks, staff, equipment, externals), asset protection and reporting Quality, hygiene & safety: ensuring cleanliness, HACCP/HS compliance and compliance with legal requirements; Maintenance of equipment and inventory Leading & Developing: Head of the banquet team and the banquet reception (Meeting Concierge Team) with a total of about 18 team members; Objective, briefings & monthly meetings; Onboarding, training, coaching and performance management Interface management: Close cooperation with kitchen, stewarding, technology, housekeeping, front office and external event service providers/3rd party partners; Participation in pre/post-cons Administrative Excellence: Leading Daily Reports and KPIs; conducting employee development talks; Standardization of processes and continuous process optimization

Be distract. Complete training/study in the hotel/venture area and multi-year experience, ideally with responsibility for banquet/vent management Deeper OPERA knowledge (essential) as well as safe handling of MS Office and relevant event/POS systems Experience in the planning and implementation of major events (from 800 people) Impressed leadership, decision-making and problem-solving competence – also under time pressure Funded knowledge of banquet & service standards, room/table setups, food & wine accompaniment and upselling Very good communication skills in German and English; safe, professional appearance Organizational, detailed, resilient and flexible (ends, weekends, holidays); Ready for long standing/bending and easy lifting
