Project Engineer Substations - Germany-wide (m/f/d)

You plan, evaluate and implement network connections for renewable energy projects and develop complete network connection, measurement and communication concepts. For the technical equipment of substations, switchgear systems, protection and control technology as well as building equipment you plan, check and review planning concepts and detailed documents. Constructive implementation and further development of substations as well as customer and transfer stations (new construction, extension, retrofit) are responsible. You coordinate compliance with all relevant laws, policies and network operator requirements and agree with network operators, certifiers and project partners. You always support the construction and project management in technical questions and accompany assembly and commissioning (e.g. adaptations from tests, redlines). Systematic analysis, cost estimation and technical quality assurance for process optimization as well as the continuous development of internal standards and documentation are your tasks.

You will bring a completed study in the field of electrical engineering/energy technology or an equivalent qualification. You have well-founded knowledge in the field of power grids, grid connection methods and protection technology as well as the dimensioning of electrical equipment. You have already gained several years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in the field of protection and control technology or control cabinet construction for transformers. Very good knowledge of power grid design with CAE tools such as EPLAN P8 and experience with interfaces to control systems, protection and field devices (e.g. IEC 61850) as well as network calculation software are advantageous. Communication strength, independent and structured working methods and team spirit are the key to you. Personal competencies such as presentation skills, creativity and innovation, resilience and a high level of expertise will bring you to success in this role.
