The Stroke-Einsatz-Mobil (STEMO) of the Berlin fire department at the Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln is a specialized application for pre-hospital treatment of acute strokes. The use of the STEMO can significantly reduce treatment times. In addition to strokes, the STEMO is also regularly used in general emergency services in the Berlin area. The institute has two multi-line spinal CTs, two powerful 1.5T MRTs, one monoplane and biplane DSA, a digital illumination site, digital mammography with stereotaxy as well as several digital projection radiography sites and powerful ultrasound devices.
