Strategic development and conception of IT network architectures in particular the domains WAN (DWDM and MPLS), Data Center and Office LAN (including WLAN and NAC) and associated security services (Firewall, Proxy, Loadbalancer) and associated management systems Systematic and continuous development of existing IT network infrastructures and the development and validation of network architecture guidelines and the analysis of technical requirements Creation and integration of architectural and design documents in particular high-level architecture and design documents as well as technical low-level implementation concepts and the integration of industry trends into the network strategy Analysis of strengths, weaknesses and potential applications of new technologies and architectural approaches, as well as the business responsibility of bringing the most efficient solutions into use Ensuring the achievement of goals and tasks in the areas of responsibility by e.g. employee talks, feedback rounds Identification of strengths and weaknesses of team members and promote professional development as well as leadership, motivation & inspiration of the team to create a positive team atmosphere

successfully completed academic studies (Diplom/Master's degree) with the focus on computer science, practical computer science, technical computer science, economic or administrative informatics, (economic) engineering or comparable knowledge, skills and experience Professional experience in the development of network architectures and designs for complex IT infrastructures well-founded experience with various network technologies, protocols, platforms and manufacturers Expert knowledge in the development of network architectures and designs for complex IT infrastructures many years of experience in managing a team of network architects and planners That would be desirable: Certificates such as CCNA, CCNP® & CCDP/ ITIL or Microsoft/Cloud or comparable certificates are advantageous This distinguishes you as a manager: They think in complex relationships and have a pronounced willingness to design, combined with value-adding behavior and self-reflection.
