In the field of research and development (R&D) at Mercedes-Benz Cars, we shape the future of driving. All software and E/E systems as well as their functions in the entire vehicle are secured and brought into series in cross-border networked teams of E/E testing and vehicle development. We therefore continuously integrate the latest hardware and software into all Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Our team, consisting of 20 highly motivated employees and three student supporters, is responsible for the development of some Mercedes-Benz series - including the latest electric vehicle platform with vehicles such as the GLC and other upcoming models. The tasks of the team include the preparation and execution of E/E claws (performance tests) on the vehicles, as well as the methodological and operational implementation of tool chains for testing code data. Specific software settings are switched or parameterized in the electronic control units (ECUs) in the vehicle via coding data. For preventive and as far as possible automated tests on the quality of documentation of these coding data, we are looking for you as a motivated student support. You will be part of a motivated and excellent team that will take you as an important member from the first day. The front-end development is implemented essentially via VITE+VUE (Java Script / TypeScript Frameworks)

The backend is realized as a SpringBoot application

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Programme in the field of software development, computer science, or comparable engineering studies

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Knowledge in Java, JavaScript / TypeScript and Vue3

Rudimentary knowledge Cloud environments (Docker, Azure)
