Patent Manager / Patent Ingenieur (m/f/d)

Together with the central patent department, You are responsible for consulting and implementing our IP strategy with the aim of further expanding our technological market management, protecting our company against third-party patents and securing our technology of the future. For this purpose, you may perform the following tasks: Coordination and patent advice of our domestic and foreign companies Implementation and further development of the internal IP strategy Identification (and coordination) of invalidation of rights of competition in cooperation with external patent lawyers Processing and evaluation of invention reports, including prior art research Coordination of the preparation, examination and enforcement of patents in cooperation with external patent lawyers Patent legal release of our development solutions and products with regard to third-party intellectual property rights (FTOs) Support for patent disputes

You have a successfully completed technical study (preferably physics, automation, computer science). Important are: Knowledge of electrical and automation, including control and control technology, as well as the implementation or support of digital assistance and monitoring systems (e.g. condition-based monitoring, digital twins) Practical experience with AI applications in industrial plants Basic knowledge in the field of industrial legal protection is desirable, deep IP specialization is not absolutely necessary Ready to acquire missing IP knowledge independently structured, self-responsive working, pronounced analytical skills, economically focused and targeted thinking and acting safe occurrence and the ability to render complex technical facts understandable Teamability, high commitment and flexibility very good knowledge of English and German in word and writing
