Account Manager (m/w/d) Data Center Construction Potsdam/Full time Do you want to take responsibility and introduce your expertise in creditor accounting in an international company that implements state-of-the-art data centers?

On behalf of our client, an internationally successful company in the area of Data Center Construction, we are looking for a dedicated creditor account holder (m/w/d) that takes over the entire account-payable function independently.

You work structured, think proactively and feel comfortable in a dynamic project environment? This position then gives you the opportunity to take a central role within the finance team and actively contribute to the success of challenging construction projects. Your tasks: As a responsible contact for creditor accounting, you take over the entire account-payable process and ensure a smooth process.

Your tasks include: Examination, confirmation and booking of receipts from suppliers and subcontractors Ensuring the correct sales tax treatment, in particular in reverse-charging, and taking into account construction-specific regulations Preparation and implementation of weekly payments Processing of travel costs and credit card bills Examination and processing of proofs of hours Care and coordination of creditor and subcontractor accounts clarification of open items and invoice differences Ensuring compliance with German VAT regulations and the deduction tax Close cooperation with project managers, construction site teams and purchasing Support for internal and external audits Your profile: For this position we are looking for a personality that not only convinces professionally, but also enjoys taking responsibility and actively shaping processes.

You bring with them: At least 2 years of professional experience in creditor accounting with independent responsibility for the entire accountable process Experience in the construction industry or in the handling of subcontractor bills is advantageous Good knowledge of German sales tax law, in particular in reverse charging Ideally experience with design-specific compliance requirements A hand-on mentality, self-initiative and an independent working style Joy in cooperation with people and strong communication strength A proactive, solution-oriented and aroused personality that drives things autonomously A high IT affinity and fun at work with ERP systems and digital processes Very good Excel knowledge Experience with Concur is advantageous, but no requirement You should also bring this: German and English skills Ready to work from the office in Potsdam Occasionally readiness to travel to nearby construction sites Ready to travel to Dublin and/or London for onboarding and training This is what awaits you: Look forward to an international working environment with short decision-making paths, exciting major projects and a lot of design playroom.
