FRMCS Architect for Systems Development and Field Testing - 5G & Mission Critical Services

At the next time we are looking for you as a FRMCS architect:in for system development and field testing - 5G & Mission Critical Services (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at Berlin or Frankfurt am Main. Your tasks:

The core of your work is the introduction and further development of DB InfraGO's 5G-based railway operating telecommunications platform FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System) To this end, you develop and evaluate system specifications in the 5G and Mission Critical Services section for implementing the FRMCS platform at DB InfraGO in line with ongoing work of European standardization and testing projects You participate in the further development of the FRMCS specifications and actively contribute your expertise to European bodies, e.g. network interconnections with European railways or public mobile operators In addition, you will synchronize testing requirements for FRMCS development and integration with ongoing and planned field testing activities and plan plans for future testing projects For the implementation of field trials, you will develop concepts, architecture and schedules and accompany them in the field You support the implementation planning of DB InfraGO for 5G and Mission Critical Services, e.g. when creating and evaluating specifications, award documents or concrete technical specifications. In the FRMCS environment you actively work with relevant stakeholders: inside and outside the Deutsche Bahn

Your profile:

The basis of your career is a successfully completed degree in engineering, e.g. in the field of news technology, telecommunications, computer science, economic engineering or a comparable field of expertise You have experience in the design, analysis, development and/or operation of mobile radio systems, ideally in the field of 5G and Mission Critical Services Through your knowledge in project management, you are aspiring in the context of complex tasks and processes Through clear, solution-oriented communication in German and English, you are co-ordinating with internal and external stakeholders: inside, including the European railway sector Through your self-organization and enthusiasm for new things, you work cooperatively and targeted in interdisciplinary teams You are committed to new technologies and are also driving challenging, long-term projects consistently
