Site Reliability Engineer - DDoS / Nginx / Python (m/w/d)

You develop and adapt the logic to protect DDoS attacks on network and application levels You opt for the pipelines for automatic detection and mitigation of attack patterns and their reporting You support the System Administration to automate operating processes and rollouts You provide interfaces for other teams to integrate into the hosting products You administrate and undisturbed high-availability, complex and demanding infrastructures and participate in a readiness to call You support the set goals through an efficient operating architecture, active lifecycle management and lean processes in an agile DevOps environment

You have several years of experience in the system-oriented development of highly available software artifacts in at least one of the programming or script languages: Go, C, Python, PHP, Bash You have experience with Nginx, ideally in connection with Lua as a script language to extend the application logic You have practical knowledge about the operation of Nginx as a reverse proxy or web application firewall and see infrastructure as a code and automation as an important part of your working methods You know about BGP, Flowspec, Anycast Routing and have a basic understanding of network protocols on Linux systems You have good analytical skills to evaluate DDoS attacks, implement countermeasures and continuously develop our defense platforms Like us, you are a fan of open source, especially Linux
