The Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Höperhöfen GmbH is a private carrier of stationary youth assistance and operates two facilities in Höperhöfen (near Rotenburg) and Wangersen (near Ahlerstedt). Our focus: Individual support and support for children and young people (6–21 years) in a stable, multi-professional environment. We help them find their own way and start self-determined into life. We are looking for you as a social pedagogue / social worker / educator / pedagogical specialist (m/w/d) in locations: Wangersen (near Ahlerstedt)

Care & promotion – You accompany children and young people in everyday life and create individual, needs-oriented care. Educational work – With targeted educational measures you support their social, emotional and cognitive development. Case management – You create individual help plans, document the progress and adapt measures. Crisis Intervention – In challenging situations, you keep calm, deescalate and professionally support the young people. Group work – Through creative activities and projects you strengthen the community and social skills. Parent work – You work closely with parents and guardians to promote the best possible development. Networking – You cooperate with schools, youth offices, therapists and other partners to optimally support young people.

Education/Studium – A completed study in social work, social education, educational sciences or a state-approved training as an educator – or a comparable qualification. Professional experience – Ideally you already have experience in working with children and young people in youth assistance. Expertise – You know the basics of youth assistance (SGB VIII), discussion and crisis intervention. Personal competencies – empathy, communication strength, enforcement ability and team spirit characterize you. Organizational talent – You work independently, structured and remain flexible even in challenging situations. Flexibility – shift and weekend work as well as readiness to call are not a problem for you.
