Number: MER0003ZB6 The Operations Strategy (RD/EDC1&2) departments develop modern, attractive drives for the next-generation Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG vehicles with great passion. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. We develop and apply high performance software components to control and regulate innovative powertrain concepts to create an outstanding customer experience together with our partners. In particular, the development of connected drive systems from internal combustion engine and 48V-ISG systems is the focus here.

We are looking for a student support to strengthen our development team. We are a collegial, motivated team with versatile and exciting tasks and look forward to enriching with your commitment and personality. These challenges come to you: Independent test setup and test support on the vehicle Independent planning and implementation of a SIL strategy (Software in the Loop) for optimisation of consumption under known physical boundary conditions expands the aspect of cost and time resources Implementation and validation of developed SIL results on the vehicle Formula written preparation according to scientific standards

The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us. The activity can begin from April 2026.

Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or Comparable
