Coordination and technical support of all technical tasks at the Institute First contact person for technical and structural measures (internal workshops and external companies) Independent coordination of complex processes with interfaces (University of Ulm, fortune and construction, Office Ulm) Preparation and commissioning of measures incl. Definition of the scope of order and, where appropriate, creation of technical drawings Responsibility for operation, maintenance and extension of technical installations Organisation and monitoring of timely maintenance by external service providers Independent initiation of troubleshooting Performance of device testing (non-electrical devices) Execution of minor repairs and regular control procedures Responsibility for gas and nitrogen storage Participation in security documents (also in English) Organisation of occupational safety events Support in the creation of risk assessments and operating instructions The workplace is in Ulm.

Complete vocational training as a state-tested technician or master of mechanical engineering, e.g. mechatronics, tool construction, manufacturing technology Long-standing professional experience in the field of construction, mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology Experience in the field of production planning taking into account ecological, energy and industrial aspects Knowledge of the standard design and reading of technical drawings (CAD) for components and assemblies Ability to analyze and solve machine engineering tasks Ability to create assembly plans Experience in handling ultra-high vacuum devices Experience in the field of occupational safety, hazards, handling of gases, fire protection Very good English skills in word and writing
