In order to strengthen our team at the Heidelberg site, we are looking for an experienced head of CO2 reporting and management systems in Germany (w/m/d), which coordinates the CO2 reporting of German cement plants on the basis of the EU-ETS and the national emission trading system (nEHS), and as a management system coordinator organizes the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) of the German cement division. Within the IMS, you are responsible for the coordination of DIN EN ISO 50001 as energy manager for the cement division.

The following responsible tasks are waiting for you: Professional and disciplinary leadership of a staff member

CO2-reporting: Central contact for our cement works, certifiers and authorities

Organisation and monitoring of verification audits

Transmission of CO2 reports and coordination of CO2 legislation

Plausibility tests of monthly CO2 emissions of works

Organisation of applications in national emissions trading

Management systems: Superior coordination of the Integrated Management System (IMS) consisting of quality, environmental, and energy management system

Superior coordination of the energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001

Implementation of internal and external audits

Supporting the divisions of Heidelberg Materials AG and contact persons for internal customers

Support for application procedures (e.g. energy/electricity tax)

Energy consumption monitoring and reporting

Organisation of training and cross-species energy network meetings

Takeover of the function ESG coordinator cement

Working in associations

To successfully master your future tasks, you should bring: Completed scientific or technical studies or comparable training

At least three years of experience in the field of energy (ISO 50001, DIN EN 16247-1)

Embossed target and result orientation

High level of efficiency and cost awareness

Flexibility and fast adaptability to new requirements

High social competence and safe occurrence

Strong communication capability at all levels

Team skills and experience in interdisciplinary cooperation

Good knowledge of English
