The credit business is of central importance to our home and includes a variety of very diverse tasks. This also includes restructuring, which is responsible as a division for the bank-side support of companies in all conceivable stages of economic difficulties. These crisis-affected borrowers are a small but particularly challenging section of our credit business, both in the Community business with the Volksbanken and Raiffeisen banks and in the direct credit business, in the entire range of corporate customers, from small business operators to the stock exchange-listed company, nationally and internationally as well as in project financing of all kinds. Each of our borrowers is accompanied by a team consisting of the risk supervisor who maintains external (customer) contacts and the credit analyst responsible for internal processes. Together, it ensures that risks are appropriately assessed, losses for our house are reduced or avoided and legal and regulatory requirements are met. Here you are in constant direct contact with the customer. In addition to the focused analysis of the situation of the borrower, the examination, assessment and monitoring of restructuring and settlement concepts is the basis for the activity in restructuring. In doing so, committed negotiations of these concepts with all parties are required. In your 12-month trainee program with an individual schedule, you will be working in the various units of the Restructure department. The location of your activity is Frankfurt am Main or Düsseldorf. In addition, you have the opportunity to hospitate in various cutting units and thus gain a comprehensive insight.

You have a successful full-time master's degree (summary 2.5 or better) as a basis for the necessary understanding of complex restructuring situations. First banking knowledge and first practical experience through bank training or internships in the credit business are desirable, as you can quickly enter into our complex daily business. High analysis skills, a structured way of working and fun in numbers are yours. This allows you to examine refurbishment and resolution concepts for heart and kidneys and develop targeted solutions. You have a high level of willingness and flexibility to take you on ever new challenges and interlocutors. This is the basis for making you committed and happy to meet the heterogeneous requirements of the restructuring environment. Your own initiative and team skills complete your profile so that you enrich our work with your spirit in interdisciplinary teams. You can communicate in German and English (min. C1) in writing as well as orally well and have a pronounced communication and negotiation capability in order to act with all participants in restructuring-immanent conflict situations.

Perspective: You start with an indefinite contract and a salary of EUR 68,000 during and EUR 74,000 after the trainee program.
