Fleet Technical Specialist - Flying Doc (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced specialist in vehicle diagnostics that supports retailers and workshops in complex vehicle problems. You are the escalation partner if others do not come forward – and help to reduce downtime and do repairs right the first time. Exterior and remote operations to support traders, authorized workshops and technical centers across Europe to reduce vehicle downtime and residues. Diagnosis and solution of complex technical incidents to customer vehicles, including advanced electrical/electronic and multiplexing errors. Analysis of problems on individual vehicles and systematic fault patterns affecting several vehicles; Detection of emergency measures and corrective measures. Use of OEM diagnostic tools (e.g. wiTECH POD, DiagBOX VCI) for guided diagnostics, software updates, reprogramming and parameterization. Processing of individual cases and overarching technical issues across fleets Creating clear technical reports and case updates Coaching of technicians and practical instructions Introduction of recurring problems in continuous improvement processes

Qualifications That's what you bring • Found experience in vehicle diagnosis / technical support / workshop or field service • Detectional ability to fix complex electrical/electronic errors • Practical experience with OEM diagnostic tools • Safe handling of schematics and technical documentation • Experience in working with workshops, engineering or technical teams • Ability to support and guide technicians • Remarkable: experience in the field service or cross-site support, multi-brand experience and background in the technical support of an OEM/importer Technical knowledge • Modern vehicle systems: drivetrain, ADAS, body electronics • Networks: CAN / LIN / FlexRay • Diagnostic techniques: root Cause Analysis, guided diagnosis, flashing Languages • Good English knowledge required in word and writing • Other European languages are of advantage
