The Stackmeisterei ''TD 232'' is part of the Competence Center Uferbauwerke, Hochwasserschutz und Neuwerk. We are an outdoor location on the island of Neuwerk in the Elbmündung in front of Cuxhaven. Stack mastery is responsible for flood protection, dike defense, fresh water supply and dirty water disposal, as well as all municipal tasks on the island. In Cuxhaven is still a small branch, as a transfer point from the mainland to our supply ship stationed there and as the seat of our administrative department and project management.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You are responsible for the production, processing and assembly of metal and steel constructions. You use welding, riveting and screwing techniques safely. In addition, you are responsible for the thermal separation, deformation and machine processing of materials. You are responsible for the treatment and design of surfaces, e.g. by derusting and coating. For your projects, you will produce sketches and technical drawings. In the maintenance and maintenance of the technical infrastructure, you can use new equipment (aircraft, skids, ship docks, wind measuring stations) to ensure smooth operation. As part of a small team, you also support other works and activities.

You have a completed training as a locksmith or design mechanic. A welder training according to DIN/ISO is ideally provided. At best, you have a class B driver's license as well as a license for construction machines and cranes. A high level of self-employment and reliability are particularly distinguished. You have the willingness to work and live on the island of Neuwerk – in the rhythm of 10 days on site and 4 days free. We will of course provide you with the accommodation. Your profile is rounded off by a high team capacity, flexibility and sense of responsibility.
